Slingshot 101 Today?!?!

Just another morning in the hood.  Woke too early to crow wrestling on the "zinc", wishing I had a slingshot!  Maybe Joe and I will try to make one today!

Now Grace is up, she's gonna go throw some mangos at them!

Hello Ipsen's....you don't know me, but I've been following your blog from day one. May God bless you mightily for the service you have been in Cameroon. And I hope you find Joplin on the mend when you come back home.

My name is Jeannie and I'm a friend of the Palmer's, but got your blog link from Carol Tudor at UMKC-School of Medicine [where I understand Brian graduated from :-)] Dr. Palmer talked me into working for him as administrative support for Internal Medicine Docents and one year later left for Cameroon. ha. I loved the job so I stayed. Also, my church is the home church for the Palmers so we get updates about all that is happening in Cameroon.

I must tell you though that you've given me a whole different "ground level" view of the country and I've enjoyed your blog immensely.

Your time in Cameroon has not only changed lives there....but your whole family as well. Blessings to you all! Jeannie

Jeannie,
Thanks so much for your comments! I cannot tell you how much it means to hear the support. It truly has been a blessing here and am not sure who benefits more, the patients or us! I am glad you are enjoying the blog, sometimes I feel like I'm just rambling on and it isn't anything interesting that people want to read. I will tell the Palmer's hello, they have been great to us also. I definitely see us returning as it is a good thing that God has going on here!
In Him, amy
